Are stereotypes dangerous?
I think that stereotypes are dangerous, because they can lead to discrimination or aggression. A lot of stereotypes are harmful. Plenty of them, like for example that African people are poor or that islamic women have no rights, lead to culture or religious discrimination. It can be harmful for people that are subject of it. Some people degrade or are aggressive toward islamic people, because of rumors or stereotypes that they heard. There are people who don’t realize that what they hear can actually be stereotype and can be harmful for other nations, cultures or people. To sum up, in my opinion stereotypes are dangerous, because they can lead to aggressive behaviors, violence or discrimination.
