Persian is one of the most recognizable cats’ breeds. Persian cats are known for their long coat and round, chubby head. They are one of the most quiet and calm cats. Persians originally come from Iran (before known as Persia). They became really popular in Europe, after being imported there in 17 th century. Because of their calm nature they were known as fancy breed. Persian cats come in every colour. They can have solid coat type, be bi-coloured or have any other pattern. They require a lot of care, especially they have to be groomed, because of their long coat. Persians are usually indoor cats. They enjoy long naps and quiet places. Persians don’t like noise, loud children or other animals. To sum up, Persian cats are pretty known around the world.
