How smart cats are?
Cats are far more intelligent than people may realize. Each part of cat’s brain is divided into sections and connected to the other parts, which allows cat to understand and respond to its surroundings. Cats have more nerve cells in visual areas of their brain, than humans or other mammals. These areas are responsible for decision-making, problem-solving, language-processing, memory and planning. That’s why cats are good with associating things with certain memories. For example, they won’t be happy seeing their owner packing a suitcase, because they remember that last time owner left them for long time after packing suitcase. It’s hard to say how smart cats are, because they are refusing to take part in experiments or don’t follow the instructions. Cats even if they understand commands simply choose not to follow them. It’s still hard to say how clever cats are, but it is obvious that they are really intelligent animals.

Using the word 'language-processing' is a bit off in this context, don't you think?
