Why do most people root for the underdog?

 Most people root for the underdog, because they enjoy more unexpected results then results that they can predict. Also results like that can proof that everything is possible and give hopes to being able to achieve our dreams even if them seem impossible to come true.

As an example we can take a football match. During bigger events like champions league or europa league usually we see that one of the most popular and the best teams at the end wins. People are used to this. Better teams wins, worse teams are eliminated. They aren’t surprised by the results at all and quickly forget about who won competition. But when one of weaker teams wins, they celebrate, they are surprised, people don’t forget easily about  unpredictable and unexpected winners.


That’s why people root for underdogs. Because it changes something. It gives better feeling and proofs that unexpected things can happen.

300 villagers killed in massacre by rebels

                About 300 people died in an attack on villagers in eastern Democratic Republic of Kongo. The army accused the M23 rebel group of killing at least 50 civilians in Kishishe village, before the government put number of dead at more than 100. Insurgents has rejected accusations and said that 8 civilians were killed due to “stray bullets”. Government spokesman Patrick Muyaya said that all of the victims were civilians and that at least seventeen of them were children. He also said that it is difficult to break down the data in full given the area was as he said “under M23 occupation”. M23 or the March 23 rd movement is a rebel group that was dormant for years. It took up arms again in November last year. Three boys dead after falling into Solihull lake

              Three boys died after falling into icy Solihull lake. Eight, ten and eleven-years old boys are dead after they fell through thin ice at the lake near Solihull in the West midlands. A fourth bot, aged six, was transported to the hospital in critical condition after the incident on Sunday afternoon. All kids were in cardiac arrest when they were pulled from the lake . They were given immediate life support by ambulance and fire service personnel before being rushed to two hospitals. They all arrived there in critical conditions. Families of the children are devastated. It is really sad that these young boys lost their lives. It is the warning to all people that it is dangerous to play on ice, especially because we never know what is going to happen. Tricolour cats

              Tricolour cats are in most cases female. That’s because gene for black and gene for orange colour are carried by chromosome X. Females’ combination of sex chromosomes is XX, while males’ combination is XY. Female cats have two chromosomes X, which means they have two chromosomes with colour code. Male cats have one chromosome X, so they have one chromosome that can carry colour. Chromosome Y has no colour genes. Tricolour cats appear when gene responsible for black colour and gene responsible for ginger colour are carried by chromosomes. However male cats can also be tricolour. It can happen when Klinefelter’s Syndrome occur. In that situation they have XXY combination. This Syndrome is really rare and, in most cases, can cause worse health than in normal cat.
